Where a GIFT's definition was worked out: the curation documents that state and defend it, the analysis scripts run to decide it, and the result tables those scripts wrote. Each row links to the file in the source repository named by [gifter_db_version()], at the commit the database was compiled from when it records one.

Usage

get_gift_evidence(gift_id, db = NULL)

Arguments

gift_id

Stable GIFT identifier.

db

Optional open gifter database connection.

Value

A tibble with one row per evidence item: `gift_id`, `evidence_kind` (`curation_document`, `analysis_script` or `result_table`), `location` within the repository, `description`, and `url`.

Details

This is provenance, never evidence for a call: a GIFT is supported only by the markers observed in a genome. Every GIFT has at least one curation document; an analysis script is listed only where one was run, and most metabolic GIFTs were curated from Rhea, KEGG and CAZy without one. A database compiled for schema 7 records no evidence and returns no rows.
